This numbering system is not an 'art', and therefore information should not be withheld from any American Citizen (especially since we pay for them through our tax dollars). Many dictatorship, communist, and other countries withhold information from their in order to gain and maintain power; however, in the end no one wins. I urge these documents to become available to the American public on the Internet without cost. I also urge the courts overturn their previous opinion to grant copyright to West Publishing's numbering system used to maintain these court records. Finally, I request those judges involved in these cases who have received benefits from West Publishing return/reimburse for their gifts. Thank you in advance for reading and considering this matter!
